Alexander Angasan, 23, of South Naknek, was accused of shooting another man in the left thigh with a .22-caliber rifle back in July while the two were fighting in Pilot Point, troopers said.

The wounded man, Brandon Seybert, 19, of Bakersfield, Calif., was transported to Anchorage, where the bullet was surgically removed from his leg, troopers said.

Angasan is scheduled to be sentenced March 2, troopers said.
