Six inches to a foot of snow is expected to settle on Anchorage today and tomorrow, putting a wintery end to an otherwise dry November, the National Weather Service reported Saturday.
Snow was falling at the airport Saturday afternoon, where the snow depth was measured at 8 inches.
The depth was expected to reach double digits by the evening, with the storm tapering off by Sunday afternoon.
