Crews responding to the call at about 11 p.m. Saturday found light smoke spewing from the eaves of the home at 2094 Esquire Drive, the department said.

The fire caused less than $100,000 in damage, firefighters said.

The Red Cross of Alaska was assisting the three displaced people, according to the fire department.
