Bradley James Tucker, 23, is facing two counts of second-degree murder and one of first-degree robbery in connection with the allegedly drug-related robbery and slaying.

The indictment says the Department of Corrections intercepted a letter from Tucker, who was jailed on other charges, in which he confessed to the crime. He subsequently told police he shot Jacobsen, 27, when she arrived at a home in the 5300 block of East 40th Avenue because he thought she had cash and marijuana, according to the indictment, filed in court Nov. 26.

In his confession, Tucker claimed to be the lead man in the heist and said the others "really had nothing to do with it," a police affidavit says.

Tucker is the fourth man to be charged in connection with the death. Craig Berumen Jr., 24; Christopher Binkley, 25; and Stephen Mohler Jr., 24, are also awaiting trial on charges of second-degree murder and robbery.
