Trooper spokeswoman Megan Peters said pilot Gary Petigler left Saturday at 4 p.m. in a red and white Beechcraft plane. He was reported overdue at 11:23 p.m. Troopers then checked the airports at Tok and Northway, finding no sign of the plane.

Peters said troopers do not know where to search but have notified all airports in the state to be on the lookout for the plane.
