BETHEL -- A four-wheeler, several cases of beer and some spirits were stolen during a weekend break-in of an air cargo carrier's warehouse, Alaska State Troopers said Tuesday.

During an investigation into the break-in of the Lynden Air Cargo warehouse in Bethel, an employee who lives in Oscarville reported seeing a four-wheeler matching the description of one stolen at a nearby residence, troopers said. Troopers located the four-wheeler, recovered some of the beer and spirits, and arrested Michael Larson, 39, of Napaskiak, on a charge of second-degree burglary for the incident reported to troopers about noon Sunday.

Larson was booked at the Yukon-Kuskokwim Correctional Center.

Damage to the warehouse was estimated at $1,700, with another $6,200 in goods stolen, troopers said. The investigation is continuing.
