UAA engineering program accredited
The Bachelor of Science in Engineering program at the University of Alaska Anchorage has been accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. The civil engineering and geomatics programs also earned continuing accreditation, the university said. The BSE program is comprised of computer systems engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. A team from the accreditation board visited the campus last fall to interview university officials, students and businesses, and review course materials and student projects, among other activities, the university said.
