Granted, the federal government spending that is to be cut by the ham-fisted sequester is not the ideal amount (at this time); nor are the cuts targeted at those programs most deserving of reductions. But I contend that in order to eventually eliminate our national debt these cuts would be made anyway, sooner or later. Many more cuts will follow.
But from this point forward, let the budgets be cut with careful consideration to priorities.
