Letter: Lawyers looking at fertile ground

In Alaska, you can buy a pickup and a gravel spreader.  In the winter you lay down the gravel to make winter roads safer; in the spring, you simply recover the gravel for use the following winter.  That’s job security.

You also might want to consider getting a law degree because in our ever-more litigious society there is/will be someone/something to sue — temperatures of coffee from a fast-food restaurant, SEARS, for not having labels on lawnmowers warning against picking them up to use a hedge trimmers, etc.

Now that the AMA has declared obesity a disease, lawyers will be able to sue Nutrisystem, Weight Watchers and other dietary programs for either failure or for not paying medical taxes — you wait, those programs will be taxed under Obamacare.
