Alaska Heart and Vascular Institute adds six new staffers

Alaska Heart and Vascular Institute continues growth, adds six mid-level providers

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – The Alaska Heart and Vascular Institute has added six new mid-level providers to its team of highly skilled cardiovascular experts including: Susan Morrow, ANP; Even Evanson, PA-C; Marianne Hoosier, PA-C; Tina Smith, PA-C; Cora Bosshart, PA-C; and Denise Valentine, ANP. 

Marianne Hoosier, PA-C, who comes to the Alaska Heart Institute with more than 23 years of medical experience, earned her Master of Medical Science from Emory University School of Medicine in 1994.

Susan Morrow, ANP earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida and comes to the Alaska Heart Institute with nearly a decade of cardiology experience.

Tina Smith, PA-C has worked as a physician assistant for more 10 years in both Missouri and Anchorage. Smith received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2002.

Even Evanson, PA-C has worked in the medical field for more than eight years and graduated from the University of Washington physician assistant program in 2011. 

 Cora Bosshart, PA-C has more than five years experience in clinical cardiology and graduated from Oregon Health and Science University this year with a Master’s in Biomedical Informatics.

Denise Valentine, ANP has worked as a nurse throughout Alaska and Utah for the last six years. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2005.

 

“As we continue to grow, we are looking for staff who will add to the level of care we offer our patients,” said Alaska Heart Institute CEO Keli Hite McGee. “The education and experience of these six new mid-level providers will certainly do that, and we’re excited to welcome them to the team.”
