Erik Hill
Severiano Mora, known to students as Mr. Rafael, receives a birthday serenade in English and in Spanish on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Campbell Elementary School. Mr. Rafael, a night custodian, is at 83 the second-oldest employee in the Anchorage School District. He bids the students good-bye every day when he arrives for work as they depart, and they have honored him each of the five years he has worked at the school. "I am 83 years old but still working!," he beamed. "They make me feel very, very good."
