Spectators watch from Halibut Point Road as seiners jockey to set their nets at the beginning of the third opening in the Sitka Sound sac-roe herring fishery Saturday in Sitka. Boats and skiffs ran into each other, and nets were torn in the scramble to make sets in such a small area. Fisherman managed to harvest 3,800 tons in the opening.
