Lance Mackey's enthusiastic finish in Nome was the talk of the 35th Iditarod, but the stunning images of the race in 2007 came from all over.
Iditarod 35 kicked off on Saturday, March 3 in downtown Anchorage. Among those racing is Rick Swenson, a five time champion.

Alaska-based soldiers headed for Afghanistan
Brigade commander Col.
