Tim Johnson maneuvers in the rapids of Sixmile Creek. Whitewater kayakers and others gathered on the Kenai Peninsula for Sixmile Fest on Saturday, June 6, 2009. The event featured a crowded raced down Sixmile Creek's first canyon, a rodeo in the rapids a few miles downstream and an evening party on a gravel bar in the evening.
