Pundit Ann Coulter is coming to Alaska to promote "In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome!"

Donald Trump has yet to travel to Alaska on his presidential campaign but Anchorage will soon get a visit from one of his high-profile boosters: Ann Coulter, the conservative pundit and author of the forthcoming book "In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome!"

Coulter, the New York Times bestselling author, will speak Sept. 17 at the Egan Center as part of a book tour. She's the first speaker of at least two live political events planned by a new company, Steelhead Productions.

"We just thought Ann was a person of interest that fits with the time of year," said the company's president, Mike Robbins, who also owns an ad agency and several radio stations. "She's somebody who has a unique wit and wisdom and viewpoint on how things are run and should be run."

Coulter is known for her inflammatory remarks — on Wednesday, she wrote that "Republicans who blame Trump for the media's lies may as well blame a rape victim for wearing a short skirt."

In "Adios America!" — a book Coulter released last year — she "denounces immigrants and their liberal supporters," according to a summary by The New York Times.

Robbins said his company is "risking real money" by bringing Coulter to Alaska and agreeing to pay her fee, which he wouldn't disclose.

Tickets are on sale and start at $42, plus a $10 service fee. Coulter will also do a book signing, Robbins said.

He said his company also plans to organize concerts, as well as another political event in October that will likely feature dialogue from high-profile left- and right-leaning speakers.

Robbins is a Republican but Steelhead Productions' events won't exclusively align with his political philosophy, he said.

"This isn't a mission," he said. "It's a business."
