Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign announced that due to overwhelming – and presumably unexpected — interest, Jane Sanders will appear Thursday evening at an Anchorage rally and town hall at the Lakefront Anchorage Hotel — formerly the Millennium — on Spenard Road.
Sanders, wife of Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders, is making a campaign stop in Alaska timed to Saturday's Democratic caucuses.
The rally and town hall are set to begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Redington Ballroom. She had planned to meet with supporters during a drop-in visit to Moose's Tooth but that's been shifted to the Spenard rally, organizers said.

She's heading to Dillingham Friday, where there will be a potluck and town hall at the middle school starting at noon. A planned coffee event in Anchorage on Saturday morning is in flux.
