Dimond boys crowned state soccer champs

Sometimes all it takes is one timely goal to win a soccer match and that's all the Dimond boys needed Saturday in the state high school championship at Dimond Alumni Field.

Ferntheil named MVP

Zach Ferntheil did a little bit of everything for an undefeated Service team during the Cook Inlet Conference baseball season, and was rewarded by being named the Don Rabung Most Valuable Player.
