AKIACHAK -- A 17-year-old Akiachak boy has been arrested on a felony assault charge after he ran over a woman while recklessly driving a four-wheeler, according to Alaska State Troopers.
The victim, Andromeda Frederick, 21, of Akiachak was seriously injured and was medevacked to Anchorage, troopers said.
The youth, who was not named because of his age, is accused of hitting Frederick about 10 p.m. Friday, troopers said.
He was arrested on charges of first-degree assault and leaving the scene of an injury accident and booked into the Bethel Youth Facility.
