Winners were crowned in three events on Thursday during the first day of competition at the 2015 Native Youth Olympics at the Alaska Airlines Center.

The competition, which features Native games athletes from across Alaska, began on Thursday with an opening ceremony, followed by the kneel jump, wrist carry and Alaskan high kick.
