Photos: ACF Church Easter Egg Drop

The ACF Church in Eagle River held an Easter egg drop on Saturday, April 4, 2015. 10,000 plastic eggs were dropped from a helicopter onto a bed of hay in the church parking lot. Two drops were held: one for children in kindergarten and younger and one for children in first grade and older. Many of the eggs did not survive the fall from the helicopter and broke on impact. Children and parents covered their faces as hay and dust were blown into the air. The hundreds of children in attendance scrambled for the candy, searching through the hay. Other activities were part of the day, including bounce houses and food trucks.
