Alaskans watched results come in regarding Ballot Measure 2, which would legalize the possession and sale of recreational marijuana, on Election Day, Nov. 4, 2014. Opposing campaigns gathered at separate events in Downtown Anchorage. Supporters of the campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol in Alaska gathered at Ginger, a restaurant on Fifth Avenue. Meanwhile, supporters of "Big Marijuana. Big Mistake. Vote No on 2" convened in the offices of Northwest Strategies, an advertising agency.
