Two people were killed late Tuesday at a home on Spinnaker Drive in South Anchorage, police say.

The Anchorage Police Department is investigating a double homicide at a home on Spinnaker Drive in South Anchorage Tuesday night.

APD says officers responded to the home around 7 p.m. At the scene, Officer John Daily described the apparent circumstances of the deaths. A man had come home and found his wife and daughter dead, Daily said. The daughter was in her late teens or early twenties and the wife was in her late forties, he estimated.
