When the UAA Architecture and Engineering Club (AE Club) wanted to give back, they decided to throwback, all the way to the 1980's.

On Saturday, over 100 people donned colorful 80's garb and practiced their dance moves in a parking lot on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus, in preparation for a 5-kilometer fun run/walk, which happened to have six "dance stops."

UAA AE club president Megan Endreson led the runners in the electric slide, washing machine and the moonwalk.

Proceeds from the event will support the club's trip to Florida to work with Habitat for Humanity.
