The UAA men's basketball team saved its best for last on Saturday, completing its Great Northwest Athletic Conference season with a 101-67 blowout of Saint Martin's in the final game of the season at the Alaska Airlines Center.

"I thought we had a pretty complete effort," said UAA coach Rusty Osborne, whose team will head into next week's GNAC playoffs riding a two-game winning streak after back-to-back home wins to close its first season at the new arena.

Senior Travis Thompson capped an historic career with a game-high 22 points for the Seawolves, who also got 19 points and nine assists from Brian McGill, 15 points and five boards from Dom Hunter and a near triple-double – 13 points, eight rebounds and eight assists – from Derrick Fain.
