Now we know. The 49ers were not just playoff opponents for the New Orleans Saints back in January. The 49ers also were targets of the infamous bounty system.Something clicked in my brain Thursday when I heard that audiotape of New Orleans defensive coach Gregg Williams telling his players to "kill the head" and dish out extra pops to 49ers helmets "every time you get off the pile." I went back in my files. Found what I wanted.
