Two former winners picked up victories at the Alaska match-play golf championships Sunday at Palmer Golf Course.
Greg Sanders, the 2014 champion, bested Paul Blanche by a score of 3 and 2 to win the men's gross championship.
In the senior gross bracket, 2015 champion Benjamin Sumulong beat Peter Hakes, going 1 up through 19 holes.
Sanders won his semifinals match 2 and 1 over Michael Oldenkamp. Sumulong downed William Arnold 3 and 1 in his semifinals showdown.
