ALASKA SPORTS DIGEST

The Anchorage Bucs staged a three-run uprising in the seventh inning Monday to come from behind and knock off the Fairbanks Goldpanners 3-2 at Mulcahy Stadium.

With the bases loaded and no one out, Robert Taylor came home on a wild pitch, Dom Duggan singled home a run, and a Panners error allowed the winning run.

Fairbanks' (11-12, 16-15 overall) Joe Persichina slammed a two-run home run in the third inning.

The Bucs' Matt Gorgen picked up the save as Anchorage (15-11, 21-14 overall) moved into a tie for second place in the Alaska Baseball League with the Mat-Su Miners.
