-- The Bucs scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the ninth to rally past the Michigan Monarchs 4-3 Saturday at Mulcahy Stadium.

Brian Bello's one-out triple drove in the tying run, and Jason Martinson's single brought home

Bello to end the game.

Catcher Thor Meeks recorded his second homer of this season in the third inning to help the Bucs chip

away at a 3-0 lead the Monarchs built in the first innings.

-- The Peninsula Oilers played small ball to score a run in the first inning Saturday, and that was all they needed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Oregon Black Sox, who lost for the first time in four games against ABL opponents.
