Bucs 7, Oilers 1

Cheng-Chang Lee tossed seven solid innings and Sean Ratliff doubled twice to drive home runs Monday as the Anchorage Bucs salvaged the final game of a four-game series against the Peninsula Oilers at Coral Seymour Memorial Park.

Lee, a righthander from Taiwan, allowed one run on a home run by Jeremiah Mejia and scattered four hits to improve to 3-0.

Bucs leadoff hitter Logan Schafer went 3 for 4 and reached base four times as the Oilers committed five errors.

Louis Ullrich added two RBIs.

Pilots 10, Miners 5

Luke Yoder smashed a home run in the third inning and Ben Soignier added another in the seventh Monday to power the Anchorage Glacier Pilots past the Mat-Su Miners at Mulcahy Stadium.

Steve Daniels hit a bases-loaded, three-run double in a five-run sixth inning for the Pilots.

The Miners' Joey August hit a leadoff home run that kickstarted a four-run seventh inning and brought Mat-Su to within three.

Pilots starter Chris Smith pitched six innings and allowed two runs to move to 2-0.
