ACS boys win thriller in basketball sweep of Grace Christian

ACS boys 56, Grace 54

Grace Christian's Trevor Osborne won the scoring duel but Anchorage Christian won the game.

Anchorage Christian nipped the Grizzlies 56-54 Friday night at ACS despite 33 points from Osborne. Osborne connected on five 3-pointers to outscore ACS's Trey Huckabay, who pumped in 26 points.

Huckabay saved his best for last, scoring 15 points in the final quarter to help ACS rally from a 47-37 deficit. The Lions, who owned the fourth quarter 19-7, limited Osborne to a single basket in the final eight minutes.

Fredrick Onochie added 11 points for ACS. Tobin Karlberg contributed 14 for Grace Christian.

ACS girls 42, Grace 36

Amir Williams tossed in a game-high 13 points Friday as four players accounted for all but three points in ACS's 42-36 win over Grace Christian.

Chaunice Carr and Jordan Todd each scored nine points and Becca Land added eight for the Lions.

Hayley Hagan's 11 points and Sarah Laker's eight paced Grace Christian.
