Fueled by Cody Dearing's goal and two assists, the Dimond Lynx beat East 4-2 in the final regular-season Cook Inlet Conference hockey game for both teams Friday at Ben Boeke Arena.
Tanner Rath, Kyle Doscher and Kyler Mack also scored goals for the Lynx. Both of East's goals were unassisted strikes by Devon Ament.
Dimond will take a 9-3-2 record into the conference tournament, which begins Monday. East is 2-12.
