A trio of sisters helped Bartlett to a 25-6, 25-16, 25-14 win over Eagle River in the Cook Inlet Conference volleyball opener for both teams Wednesday at Bartlett.
Paia Togagae (17 assists, 5 aces), Violett Togagae (9 kills) and Honey Togagae (14 digs) all contributed in the win.
Anna Atafua added five aces and 15 assists for the Golden Bears.
Dimond 3, Wasilla 1
Defending Class 4A state champion Dimond rolled past Wasilla 25-21, 25-13, 21-25, 25-16 to take a volleyball victory in its season opener Wednesday at Dimond.
Brynn Sulte dominated the net for the Lynx with 15 kills and five blocks, and Alissa Pili supplied 14 kills and 20 digs.
Setters Teuila Lolotai (23 assists, 15 digs) and Hahni Johnson (18 assists, 10 digs) kept the offense flowing.
Dimond's Maya Carle chipped in on defense with 29 digs.
Wasilla was led by Andraia Bella (11 kills) and Olivia Vincent (7 kills, 3 blocks).
