Flag football roundup: Scores from Tuesday's games

West 32, East 21

Rebecca Syrup rushed for two touchdowns and passed for another to lead West past East 32-21 in a CIC flag football matchup at East.

Syrup went 13 of 24 for 185 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions through the air and rushed for 40 yards on the ground.

Isabella Roberts added two long touchdowns for the Eagles — one on a 65-yard run and one on a 70-yard kickoff return.

Kate Kirby (5 flag pulls) and Ryleigh Robertson-Lundstrom (5 pulls, 1 interception) powered the defense.

For East, Sandin Kidder threw a touchdown pass to Octavia Hines and rushed for another score.

Fua Filoialii had a big offensive game with a rushing touchdown, three extra-point catches, eight catches for 105 yards and 100 rushing yards for the Thunderbirds.

Defensively, Kendra Luiten and Tatum Eiperson each had five flag pulls, followed by Abby Johnson and Becca Fischer with four pulls each.

Dimond 19, South 0

Megan Luther did at all for Dimond, scoring all three touchdowns in the Lynx's 19-0 flag football win over Cook Inlet Conference opponent South on Tuesday at Dimond.

Luther ran the ball 13 times for 142 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.

On defense, Makenna Boring led the Lynx with three flag pulls.

Dimond moves to 4-0 with the win.

Bartlett 7, Service 0

Kiana McWhite took a 44-yard interception to the end zone and Bartlett defeated Service 7-0 in a CIC flag football game at Service.

The interception return midway through the second quarter ended up being the only touchdown in the defensive battle.

For Service, Autumn Straub tallied five flag pulls and grabbed one interception.

Ashlyn Noethlich contributed four flag pulls and broke up three passes for the Cougars.

Eagle River 12, Chugiak 7

Abby Mampreian threw a fourth-down touchdown pass to Morraina Tirado to take the lead and Eagle River defeated Chugiak 12-7 in a CIC flag football game at Eagle River.

Tirado made a finger-tip catch and rambled 60 yards for the go-ahead score with three minutes left in the game.

Lauryn Green intercepted a lateral and returned it for a touchdown for Eagle River's first score.
