Prep volleyball: 5 matches, 5 sweeps

Dimond 3, Service 0

Fueled by Alissa Pili's 14 kills and eight digs, the Dimond volleyball team cruised past Service 25-14, 25-12, 25-7 in a Cook Inlet Conference volleyball match Tuesday at Dimond.

Tuelia Lolotai totaled 26 assists, nine digs and three aces for the Lynx, who also got seven kills from Mia Estrand and six from Madeleine LaPorte.

Service was led by Justice Noa (4 kills), Brooklynn Jones (2 aces) and Julia Fetko (7 assists).

South 3, Bartlett 0

Emma Kleven put up 18 assists and Zoey Keene added 14 Tuesday to help South stop Bartlett 25-19, 25-17, 25-20 in a CIC volleyball match at South.

Klevin also provided two kills for the Wolverines, who also got 19 digs from Sarina Mancari, 11 kills and two aces from Emilye Grace Williams and four kills and seven digs from Halle Carter.

Leading the way for Bartlett were Leanna Atafua with 13 kills and two aces
and Lou "Pa'ia" Togaga with eight kills and three aces.

East 3, West 0

A big match from Kyla Liufau — 10 kills, 15 digs, four aces — helped East hold off West in a close CIC volleyball match Tuesday.

The T-birds had five players with five or more kills in their 25-22, 25-20, 25-23 win at West.

Nyanuer Bidit turned in four blocks, Daisy Page posted eight kills and a match-high 17 digs, and Celia Sheppard distributed 26 assists for East.

Kaitlin Hampton led the Eagles with 12 digs, four aces and six kills. Jackie Suka contributed eight kills and five digs, and Kelsey Ross dished out 18 assists.

Chugiak 3, Eagle River 0

Karlie Jones and Mary Morris both smashed nine kills Tuesday, lifting Chugiak past Eagle River in a three-set CIC match in Chugiak.

Allison Chase furnished Chugiak with eight digs and three aces in the 25-11, 25-14, 25-12 victory.

Grace 3, Redington 0

Strong serving helped Grace Christian sweep past Redington in a Tuesday night volleyball match in Knik.

Rachel Thompson served seven aces and Jordyn Liedike had six to lead the Grizzlies to a 25-9, 25-4, 25-12 victory.

Liedike added three blocks and two kills, and Thompson chipped in four kills and three digs. Other top contributors included Colleen Gamez with a team-high seven kills and setter Alyssa Rogers with two aces and 15 assists.
