Boys hoops: Top-ranked Dimond steamrolls Service

Dimond 79, Service 54

Kylan Osborne's 19 points and Anthony Parker's nine assists helped the top-ranked Dimond Lynx cruise past Service 79-54 Wednesday night.

Dimond led 18-4 after the first quarter and 42-18 after two in the Cook Inlet Conference game at Dimond.

Derek Gates-Magnuson added 17 points and Eric Jenkins chipped in 15 for the Lynx.

Nathan Fromm's 17 points and Shawn Aikey's 10 paced Service.

West 62, Eagle River 56

Isaiah King chalked up 16 points, six rebounds and five steals Wednesday to lead West past Eagle River 62-56 in a CIC game at West High.

Savion Wilson's 16 points topped Eagle River, which trailed 18-6 after the first quarter.

Bartlett 70, South 55

Mareng Gatkuoth scored eight of his team-high 21 points in the third quarter Wednesday to help the Bartlett Golden Bears pull away for a 70-55 CIC win over South.

Bartlett outscored the Wolverines 21-10 in the third quarter to expand a one-point halftime lead.

Anthony Camacho dropped in 17 points and Latravious Kingsland added 15 for Bartlett. Parker Johnson of South led all scorers with 25 and was joined in double figures by teammate Lian Lincoln, who added 10.

East 75, Chugiak 45

East swamped Chugiak 75-45 thanks to a trio of double-figure scorers and a dominant first quarter Wednesday in a CIC game at Chugiak.

Trey Huckabay and Moses Miller each scored seven points in the first quarter to spot the T-birds to a 16-4 lead. Huckabay finished with 20 points, Miller with 16 and Diques Esau added 10.

Jason Lombord's 15 points pace the Mustangs.
