Chugiak 10, Bartlett 3
Issy Kaltschnee drove in two runs Wednesday to help propel Chugiak past Bartlett 10-3 in a Cook Inlet Conference softball game at Albrecht Fields.
Kaltschnee and Allegra Mergen were both 2 for 2 and Gigi Montgomery was 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Mustangs.
Service 10, West 5
A five-RBI night for Kamryn Frisk carried Service to a 10-5 CIC softball win over West at Albrecht Fields on Wednesday.
Frisk's three-run double off West pitcher Rebecca Syrup gave the Cougars a 3-1 lead after one inning.
West came back with four runs in the third inning, but Frisk answered with a home run in the bottom half of the inning. The Cougars took control with a four-run fourth that featured singles from Haily Greening, Emilie Wasson and Sosefina Aukusitino.
