The Lynx scored twice in the first four minutes en route to a 4-0 semifinal win over Lathrop that puts them in tonight's state championship game at the Menard Sports Center against Service, a 3-2 winner over South in the late game.

Fueled by Henry Yawit's hat trick, Service beat Chugiak 5-1 Friday at the McDonald Center to claim third place in the Cook Inlet Conference boys hockey championships. By doing so, the Cougars nailed down the conference's No. 3 seed for next week's state championships in Wasilla.
