Service's four, five and six hitters crushed the cowhide on a windy Thursday night at Kosinski Fields. Bryan Beard, Kevin Nealley and Garrett Brown combined for nine hits, 10 runs and 10 RBIs for the Cougars.
Service improved to 7-1 and took over as leaders of the Cook Inlet Conference thanks to Dimond's win over Chugiak. Eagle River fell to 4-4.

Pitcher Trevour Riske struck out seven, catcher Dax Lauwers threw out two base runners and Dimond turned two double plays Thursday in a CIC victory over Chugiak at Chugiak's Oberg Field.
Dimond led 3-1 going into the seventh and padded its lead with seven runs in the final inning. Vince Partusch's two-run, pinch-hit single highlighted the outburst.
Both teams are 6-2 overall with two games left in the regular season.
