Service unleashed a relentless hitting attack Saturday to sweep West in an American Legion baseball doubleheader at Klatt Field.
Stephen Ferntheil drove in three runs with a pair of extra-base hits to spark Service's 13-6 win in the first game, and the Cougars followed up with a 14-hit assault to beat West 16-3 in the second game.
In the second game, Chase Barruson and Garrett Brown each drove in three runs and piled up three hits.
Sean Muller's three-run single highlighted West's six-run sixth inning in the opener.

Daniel Pohl and Patrick McFarland racked up four RBIs and two hits apiece Saturday to power East's 12-2 victory over Bartlett in a Legion game at the Kosinski Fields.
The T-bird made the most of their six hits to make a winner out of pitcher Shayne Tuck.
