Liza Spano's game-high 16 points and Kelly Gamblin's double-double were too much for Dimond to handle in South's five-point Cook Inlet Conference road win Tuesday.

Gamblin scored 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and Molly Mahan added five points, six rebounds and seven steals for South (8-6 overall, 3-3 CIC).

Jill DeGuzman's 11 points and six steals, and Tara McAdoo's nine rebounds paced Dimond (5-9, 2-4).

Service used a strong second-quarter run and a balanced scoring attack from Sylvia Bullock and Adrianna Aukusitino to fuel the Cougars over Bartlett.

Bullock finished with a double-double (19 points, 14 rebounds). Aukusitino made three from behind the three-point arc and finished with 16 points for Service (7-7, 5-1).

Kiara Honore led Bartlett (5-8, 3-3) with 12 points.

Lorrie Clifford's game-high 16 points throttled visiting Chugiak over Eagle River and kept the third-ranked Mustangs atop the conference standings.

The Mustangs, who led 28-13 by halftime, improved to 9-3 overall, 6-0 in league play. The Wolves fell to 1-12, 0-6.

Margaret Dunn scored a game-high 19 points and Jazzie Gaddy chipped in 12 as visiting East breezed past West.

The T-birds, who led by 24 points after the first eight minutes, improved to 8-6 overall, 5-1 in conference play.
