Eagle River's Aaron Wardle and Service's Cory Wiles dueled each other in a strike-a-thon Thursday at Center Lanes, and each came away with something to be happy about.
Wiles celebrated a team victory after helping the Cougars claim seven of 12 team points against Eagle River.
And Wardle celebrated a monster 754 series that is the best of the young Anchorage Scholastic Bowling league season.
Pushed by Wiles -- who rolled games of 225, 224 and 245 for a 694 series -- Wardle put up games of 247, 242 and 265.
