The Southcentral Alaska Wolves on Friday beat the West Haven (Conn.) Blue Devils, 2-1, to advance to Saturday's quarterfinals in Lansing, Mich. Southcentral is wedded to 2-1 games -- the Wolves lost their opener 2-1 in overtime and lost their second game 2-1 in regulation before winning by that familiar score Friday.
