Former Service and American Legion Post 28 catcher Alex Jamieson was sent down to the Montgomery Biscuits this week after playing nine games for the Triple A Durham Bulls.

Jamieson, who grew up playing Little League at Abbott O Rabbit and was one step away from the majors, batted .143 with four hits in 28 at-bats. He made his Southern League debut Wednesday as a pinch hitter and struck out swinging.
Jaimeson was signed by the Tampa Bay Rays as a nondrafted free agent in 2005.
