Freistone wins fourth straight Masters 10K race

Cindy Freistone the Masters 10K women's race for the fourth consecutive time Wednesday at Chuck Albrecht fields.

She finished in 47 minutes, 32.8 seconds as the second fastest racer overall.

Freistone has won the event every year since 2013.

Thomas Burton won the men's race in 45:36.8.

Daniel Folmar and Julie Michaels won the men's and women's 5K races, respectively.

The race organized by the Anchorage Running Club was for participants 40 years and older.
