Converted fullback Zach Erickson scored the game winner midway through the second half as Eagle River posted its first victory of the year on Tuesday.

Wolverines coach Eric Dearborn said it might even have been the first boys soccer victory in the three years of the program at the new school -- but he wasn't certain.

"Go ahead and put it in, and we'll celebrate like it is," he said.

Leo Aukisitino opened the scoring 10 minutes into the game for Service.

East 1, Chugiak 0

Cameron Cooper scored with about 15 minutes to play and teammate Jared Wilson posted the shutout as East improved to 3-3-1 on the season with the victory at Eagle River.

Colony 5, Grace 2

Weston Patrick, Aaron Richardson and Oliver Querin each finished with a goal and an assist Tuesday in Colony's Northern Lights Conference home victory over Grace Christian.

James Meaney and Cody Fritz also scored for the Knights, who improved to 3-0-1 overall.

East 2, Bartlett 2

After a scoreless first half, the T-birds and Golden Bears went nuts in the final 40 minutes with four goals on Monday at AFS.

East got goals from Ari Baskous and Tyler Smith. Bartlett's scores came from Alex Marinelli and Chris Arceneaux.

Wasilla 2, Palmer 0

Jimmy Sliwa and Adam Friese each found the net to help the Warriors win in the longtime Valley rivalry on Monday.
