Service's Dotzler does it all in victory

Kelly Dotzler went 4 for 4 with a double, triple and four RBIs as Service rolled to a 12-1 victory over South on Saturday at Albrecht Fields.

Dotzler also struck out six in throwing a two-hitter.

Stephanie Rapp tripled and knocked in three while going 2 for 4.

Thunderbirds pitchers Ashlin Larsen and Shaylie Wright-Crask combined for a two-hit shutout of the visiting Stars at Albrecht Fields. Ginny Rosser went 2 for 2 with two runs scored and two RBIs, while Amanda Ng had two hits and knocked in three runs for East.

Larsen and Trinity Ieremia both added a double and two RBIs, while Rachel Schoenborn scored four runs to help the T-birds run away with the win.

Amanda Ng tossed a one-hit shutout with four strikeouts and no walks and added an RBI to help the Thunderbirds maroon the Mariners.

Ginny Rosser had the big day at the plate for East with two hits and two RBIs, while Trinity Ieremia contributed two hits and an RBI.

Hailey Smith had Homer's only hit.

Jazmin Smith went the distance on the mound with five strikeouts, Rachel Sather had a hit and scored two runs and Taylor Thompson came up big in the decisive fourth inning for the Eagles.

Down 5-3, Thompson drove in two runs on a single to tie it up. She and Courtney Evans scored on a wild pitches to close a six-run fourth for West.
