Chris Schierhorn, a senior at South, will attend Phoenix College in the fall and play baseball for the Bears.

Phoenix College plays in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference, a top junior college baseball league.
Schierhorn earned varsity letters in tennis, wrestling and baseball. He was an all-state honorable mention for the South Post 4 American Legion state champions.
