The Kenai River Brown Bears on Tuesday named Michigan native Brent Agrusa as their new coach, the junior hockey team's announced.
The Brown Bears managed a 12-40-6 record last year in their inaugural season in the North American Hockey League, the oldest Junior A hockey league in the country.
Agrusa was selected from a pool of 60 applicants, the team said in a press release. Over the last two seasons, he has compiled a 70-21-7 combined record with a pair of teams.
