The Bucs got two in the first, highlighted by Kenny Bartz's triple and Eddie Tisdale's RBI double.

The Oilers broke through in the fourth with a run, only to see the Bucs answer in the bottom half of the inning.

Peninsula drew closer in the fifth thanks to a bases loaded hit batter. Bucs starter Drew Gagnier couldn't get out of the inning in his debut with the team.

In the sixth, the Oilers loaded the bases with nobody out, but failed to score. They did so again in the eighth.

The Bucs padded their lead in the eighth with a single run. The Oilers got it back in the ninth.

SoCal Running Birds 8, Panners 5

The SoCal Running Birds scored five runs in the ninth inning to rally from a 4-3 deficit to defeat the Panners in Fairbanks.
