The Anchorage Rowing Association strutted its stuff Saturday at the Moose Nugget Regatta at Wasilla Lake by beating six other teams, including four from the Lower 48.
The Anchorage crew collected 170 points to win easily.
The Kenai Crewsters Rowing Club was second with 61 followed by AK Midnight Sun with 54.
The highest finishing Outside team was the Avalon Rowing Club from Washington, D.C., which was fourth with 13 points.
The event also featured teams from California and Washington.
The Moose Nugget Regatta is the largest rowing event in Alaska, said race official Marietta Hall, featuring 100 rowers and 56 boats competing in 19 different events.
